life is strange / blackwell academy au
18yo Julian, is on the swim team (go otters!!), parents are very well-off though not as influential as the Prescott family. They haven't lived in Arcadia Bay forever, but moved there when Julian was about 15. His parents really only seem to care about his academic success, and are gone most of the time and/or too busy to actually interact with him or even eat meals with him. For this reason, Julian lives in the dorms at Blackwell.
His parents actually spent a ton of money to have HIGHLY experimental genetic resequencing done on Julian when he was 6, to try and make him smarter and stronger. Julian only learned of this shortly after he entered Blackwell, and his relationship with his parents has only suffered more because of this. He is a genius, and loves science, and had dreams of maybe getting into medical school after Blackwell. Now he's starting to rebel and be more careless, seeking thrills.
He's generally well-liked by most of the school (staff and students alike), though he's not close enough with anyone to have ever really talked about his family, and some actually find him annoying bc he talks too much about his interests and seems arrogant whenever conversation turns toward his talents or genius. there are, of course, occasional rumors and slight harassment over Julian being bi and kind of a slut, but Julian shrugs it off so easily that harassers don't get much satisfaction out of it. (usually, he turns the harrassment back on its head by suggesting if the harassers really want a date with him they should just call him, and admitting his number is probably in a bathroom stall somewhere [shrug emoji])
